2012 Winner!
2012 Indian Chief Classic Winner

The winner of the National Motorcycle Museum’s 2012 Indian Chief Classic is Gerald Zakrison of Chesterfield, Michigan. On the afternoon of New Years eve, December 31, 2012 when the winner was drawn from tens of thousands of entries, Jerry was watching TV. Across his TV screen tracked his telephone caller ID saying, NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM. But it was when Jerry picked up his phone and Museum Director Jeff Carstensen announced to Jerry he had won the bike that it all sank in. Jerry has remained excited about his winning the bike and special Indian 110th Anniversary limited edition commemoratives ever since.

Dick Scott Classic Motorcycles in nearby Livonia, Michigan has the bike prepped and paperwork is handled. Jerry loves the bike the way it is, but is having a windshield, optional Indian pipes and some other goodies installed before he takes it home in a few weeks after the snow and salt is washed off Detroit area streets.
The National Motorcycle Museum thanks everyone who donated for a chance to win the 2012 Indian Chief, graciously donated by Indian Motorcycle Company. The Arlen Ness customized 2013 Victory Cross Country is the National Motorcycle Museum’s 2013 fundraiser bike and we invite you to donate for your chance to be the next winner!
