Designed by J&P Cycles® bike builder Jeff Wiley, this custom Custom Bobber has a nostalgic appeal. This cool, retro-bobber features a Panhead style motor, solo seat and 40’s style fender treatment. Painter Scott Takes of Underground Studios said, “The plan was to build a bike that makes us remember where we started from… history tells the story.”
Several days were spent thumbing through the J&P Cycles catalog looking for components of this motorcycle. A few of the components included on the bike are a Chopper Guys “Fat Guy Rigid Custom Bobber Frame”, a V-Twin “Panhead” style motor, a Paughco Springer front end, a Rivera/Primo Primary w/Pro Clutch and a new Spyke Stealth starter. Similar to the old Indians and Harley ’45’s, and staying with the historical scheme for the build, the tank was cut and an oil tank was welded in on the back of the right side gas tank. The pipes also wrap around the primary to have a dual exhaust look with the Trumpet mufflers coming out each side. The finished product is beautiful!
